We like to use storage boxes to contain the stuff we buy at Costco, Safeway, etc. to keep it from sliding around.  Here's a picture of the ones we've found that fit nicely in the back of the Energi.  They are appx. 24"x18"x13" and were bought at Wal-Mart.  For frozen foods we throw a reuseable ice pack inside one of them before we head out.

We used taller ones in our Odyssey but like the size of these a little better.  The rear hatch closes just fine.  I am looking at a way to keep them from sliding forward if the seat(s) are down.

There are loops on the floor for attaching belts for child seats, they should hold your stuff from sliding.

Yes, those metal D-rings are perfectly located for these boxes.  The one on the left is resting against one.  Unfortunately they are not large enough to secure the boxes from flying forward by themselves.  I'd rather not attached a rope and clip as I like to just slide them out when we get home without any fiddling around.  I think I'm going to try to attached a bracket or piece of wood across them that would be high enough to secure the boxes.  If I come up with anything good, I'll post it.
