Since I know some people have had complaints in the past on the rain sensing wipers (personally I LOVE them and have gotten the sensitivity dialed in where I hardly ever have to touch the wiper stalk). I came across a random article the other day on a site talking about windshield glass replacement and rain sensors.

According to them for Ford vehicles if there is any malfunction in the rain sensors they will fall back to classic intermittent mode so the second position on the stalk goes to intermittent mode and the dial adjusts the speed/delay. So in theory disconnecting the sensor should suffice to have it fall back.

Just a potential tip for some users here. If it works for you, let us know!

I could swear there's already a setting for this (like maybe the left hand screen), so there shouldn't be a need to disconnect anything...  but maybe I'm just imagining things...

On my 2013 at least there isn't an option. Only remote thing I can think of is the Auto Rain Light option which just says if the wipers are running at a higher rate of speed other than intermittent, turn on the headlights if those are on Auto.
