I just put snow tires on 16 inch rims on my C-Max Energi. Does anyone know how to calibrate to speedo for 16 inch tires?

Well it depends did you measure the circumference of the tires, it is not just the size of the rim:

For example, in a size P215/65 R15 tire, the 65 means that the height is equal to 65% of the tire's width.

So the tires could be the same size or slightly different I think you would need to know more than the rim size.

You could drive a measured mile and see what the odometer said.

Yeah, first thing is if they really changed much.  As far as I recall my 16's are about the same size as stock so no worries.

I do recall seeing some tire size stuff listed in Forscan, but no idea if you can actually change it successfully and have it register the correct speed on the speedo with different diameter tires...

I remember seeing tire specs there too. Maybe adjusts power output as well to compensate for different grip....

i believe i am in the right menu in forscan but not sure what to change the value to to go to the new tire size.

the as built data spread sheet says to go to 726-12-1 (i believe) to change the value of the hex, but its not here and the location varies with the cars it seems.

new tire size is 215/65/17

every thing is off by about 1.08 to 1.09 % and i want to get it closer to what it is truly doing.
