guess I was late to the party... much like the model this forum appears to be just as dead... :zombi: :zombi:

However I do like the 6+ months to a tank of gas and it's "fun 2 drive" :happy feet:

Never sold that many Energi models, so the potential members for a forum is going to be limited.  With the model no-longer produced, it likely will die a slow death.

See a lot of C-max energi's in SoCal, but unfortunately most all the car line models from Ford will be put to rest soon. :sneaking:

Would be interesting after the last C-max are made and warranties end, if anyone including myself would turn one into a sleeper "Lightning Rod" racing Hot Hatch grocery-getter :spend:

I really like the exhaust paint job, looks great!

Did you spray it yourself? I'd need to get to do it too. I am not sure why this is not done like that from stock. Paint or powder coat. Looks so much better than the bare exhaust!

Thanks - I backed it up on some floor ramps pulled off the rear exhaust "Rubber-Hanger(s)"  and was able to use cardboard above and disposable plastic drop cloth around it...

I cleaned and prepped the muffler with Eastwood's PREP,  scuffed it up with a scotch pad then another clean with PREP, then painted it high temp matte black paint  - instructions recommends to heat the painted surface to cure it. So I drove mine along the coast running the "ICE" for a hour or so - your results may vary
