Can I plug my phone into my C-Max? It is not obvious how. There is no USB connector like on my KIA.

USB ports in mine are inside the center console.  Pop open the armrest and they should be there, illuminated with an LED ring around them.

Yes, they are in the center console as mentioned. However I do highly recommend getting a quality car charger instead. Generally speaking the built in USB ports dont output a ton of power for charging and are mostly designed for use as a media source for the Sync system.

I ended up buying this Anker 5 port charger when I first got my C-Max. Paid ~$25 for it and it outputs a full 2-2.4 amps simultaneously to all ports. Sadly it seems like they discontinued that design which I really like. But Anker and Aukey brands are good quality and inexpensive.

I just use the A/C outlet and my regular home charger.

I have one of these, low profile, dual port USB chargers in each of my vehicles.

I too use my AC plug on the outside back of the console area. Vacuum works great from there too.

You can pick up a 12v outlet to USB adapter really cheap. Personally I use an old 12v outlet charger I had from the hands free kit for my previous car
