Hello again,

With a 2017 Energi, just wondering what the quickest way is to get the total EV km's?

Is it subtracting the MFM website km's (in blue) from C-Max Odometer km's?

Thanks.

John

That won't be very exact since MFM drops trips occasionally, and I think MFM counts all miles, not just EV miles. Do 2017s not show a Lifetime Summary near the odometer after you turn off the car?

(Mine is messed up anyways because it seems to have been reset sometime before I owned it).

Reset trip 2 meter and never reset it again.

Take pictures of it every time you roll over 9999 miles travelled, 999 miles EV. 99:99 hours and keep a log in an Excel spreadsheet.

If you do this you'll be able to know down the road how many miles, how many EV miles, EV to ICE ratio, how many kwh out of the battery, and how many hours driven.

Also net MPG since birth.

That's the only way to do it now since they took away lifetime summary unfortunately.

I'm completely confused over this question. The running totals on my car are approximately 8000 miles, with the adjoining blue lettering saying 800 EV. Does that mean the car's done only 800 EV miles? That's impossible- I've plugged in every night for six months, so that should be good for 3600 EV miles by itself, at 20 per day. And my overall average of 67 mpg suggest that the gas engine has gotten a rest more than 10% of the time, right?

The only figure I really care about on the dash is 67 mpg, but the rest makes me wonder...

Look at my spreadsheet above.  Numbers roll over.

EV miles roll over every 1000 miles.

Trip miles roll over every 10000 miles.

Hours roll over at 100 hours.

I assume HVB KWH roll over at 1000, I haven't gotten there yet.

Looking at mine, I'm around 75mpg.  If you're at 67mpg I estimate you're around 55% EV to ICE ratio.  That math says you should have around 4400 EV miles, but if you see 800 it means you have 4800 and it rolled over 4 times already.  Make sense?  In this case your actual EV ratio is 60 to 40% ICE.

Is there a way to see the Lifetime EV miles with the Forscan App?

I have a 2013, so I can see lifetime, but a friend just picked up a 2015, and it is gone.  Is there a PID for Forscan?  If so what name?

Thanks

Here is my updated spreadsheet, I don't have any other way to keeping track, if you do find some value we can look at with SG or Forscan please share.

You can get battery age in months, total mileage (or km) but I have not seen any value for EV miles.
