Sync keeps rebooting and then screen goes black

My sync screen went black so assumed it was just doing an update, however, its not recovering from that state and keeps rebooting and then finally goes dark. There is some kind of an alert but, I'm not able to read it since it flashes too fast.  I've attached a screenshot from a video we took that shows the alert.  Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it.

That link comes to a 404 error. However based on your description it sounds a lot like what I ran into with mine. Here's a short video clip I had:

If that is the case you are going to have to take it into the dealer and they'll likely have to replace the whole APIM. It is covered under the 12M02 warranty extension however. Essentially there is no way to reflash or recover at that stage. Pulling fuses does nothing. I had tried everything I could including doing a master reset on the rare occasion it stayed booted for more than a few seconds. Also went in with Forscan and my OBD dongle to see if there was any commands I could run there to help. Notta. No DTC's either.

I have a 2015 C-Max, and just started having this same issue as well. I was informed by the dealer that the 12M02 only covers 2011-2014 models, so even though the 2015 uses the same part, it is not included in the CSP. Did you have any luck getting your issue fixed daineh?

Our 2013 had this same problem months ago. The system would occasionally come back, but would eventually fail again. The first time it happened, we took it to a local dealer, but the system began working again just before we brought it in. They diagnosed it as the screen and not the APIM. Left there and it failed again, so took it to a different dealer. They reflashed the system and it worked for a long time, but failed again recently. It is currently at the first dealer we visited, but this time it was still not working when we brought it in. Hopefully they will diagnose as the APIM this time and order the part. We will see...

Have you tried the usual reboot/fuse(67 & 79 I believe) pulls?
