I have a fault in my original 2013 charge controller that came with the car.  Are there any resources or places to have it repaired or for a diy repair?  Has a constant on red fault sign and will not charge car. thanks in advance

Have you tried a different outlet? Also can buy chargers on E-bay pretty cheaply.

My so far failed attempt to repair the Ford level 1 EVSE plug.

Sorry.  I can't upload pictures to the gallery though I want to for a paint match, bezel repair, and EVSE plug thread.  Oh well.  Will update if someone helps me or I troubleshoot to success on the repair.

Since you haven't soldered it:. If it is stranded wire, as opposed to a solid wire, you could try twisting varying amount of strands together. Maybe one strand at first, two, three, four, etc. This may mimic the temp sensor...

More info on the plug and wires. Still faulting with one strand, two strand and all strands wrapped.
