Hi All...I would say I love my new C-Max Energi SI about 95% but a few things I am not sure of being a standard issue or specific to me...don't want to take my car in (single car family) for a day to Service to find out it is a standard issue.

First, the battery when hitting bumps makes a bouncing sound, I am not sure if that is expected or isolated to my situation...I don't hear it as much as passengers in the back.

Second specific to my wife, the seat belt shoulder loop strain relief always comes out...is a loop and my wife had the same issue (she is 5 ft 8) with my 2000 Mustang too. Belt always came out of the hoop when it was secured. I tried it did not happen.

If anyone can let me know before I call and book service and potentially waste time for all that would be great..otherwise love the car...Bob

Nope sound bump, thud, or bang sounds should ever come from the battery.  The only noise you should hear is the cooling fans mainly when plugged in.   I would look in the back, hidden tray area for something loose.

Has she tried adjusting the seatbelt height at the b-piller attachment point?

No bump sounds here either. A smooth and quiet ride is what I get.
