Now that I know how to drive this car, with a new battery in my 2017 Cmax its giving me crazy range.  Whether it will actually go that far babying it or not still needs to be determined.  The range map looks pretty cool also  :camera:

Some day I might just have to break the max range record, with mine being about 35 miles with my old 2013 Cmax.

Well, indeed it can go 37 miles and I probably would have made 40 if there were no hills to climb.  I know I've done better in the past, 215mpge not 186, so at 215 it should go over 40 miles for sure.  Boils down to the choice of road.

Coming back home I net 51.6mpg, 100% hybrid with some highway involved at 63mph speed.

I took a picture of the trip meter just before the engine started in Fall River, made it that far on battery just like the range circle predicted!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, that's OVER 6 1/2 miles per kwh!!

40 would get me to work and back. That would be perfect.

I also get around 60 km range by limiting EV speed to max 50 mph (70 km/h).

The speed has huge impact on the range.

The ideal conditions could enable over 10 km / 1 kWh, so 5 kWh gives you 50 km and more.
