Paul:

Did you hear that by Feb 20th you have to have a 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of views in a year to get paid, otherwise no google pay.

I realize you're trying to push videos for profit, but please, enough here.  Can you go advertise elsewhere and let this thread and your other one fall off instead of keeping pushing it every week?

I think he's trying to keep it at the top so new people see it.  Maybe it should just be sticky?

I never had any expectations of doing any advertising, just want New Members to know there are ways to improve MPG's with very little effort which means I need to update the thread so they will see it.  This is obviously working with the number of views going up about a hundred per week. :smile2:  It would nice if you could see an improvement in CMAX MPG's on fuelly.com, atleast mine keeps going up. :smile2:

I tried it and it works for me, I wonder if you have something keeping you from Linking up with You Tube. You can search on You Tube for MR CMAX or CMAX great mileage.  :smile2:

Went to Columbus, GA yesterday afternoon to bike ride the Riverwalk.  It's about 69 miles from Newnan, 70*F , averaged about 65 mph on I-85/ I-185 with good drafting partners, 550 ft. drop in elevation and got 59 mpg. Coming back averaging about 70 mpg and not much drafting got 49 mpg.  Sure is nice having the warmer temps.smile.png

Couple of days ago we made our usual trip up to North Atlanta to see New Grandson up I-85/I-285.  It's about 50 miles each way, temps 77*F going up, AC on half of the time Wife was getting hot.smile.png  Speeds were 80 mph to stop and go for accident , took about 15 min. longer than usual, started with 56 mpg on tank average ended with 55.9mpg. Going Home temps down to 70*F, speeds 75 mph to 60 mph and ended with 56.1 mpg, sure is nice to have warmer temps.smile.png  My MPG's HWY are only a few mpg less than City. yahoo.gif BTW You Tube views are up to 5,600 and hopefully CMAX/FFH MPG's will be going up on fuelly.com. this Summer.smile.png

With temps in the 65 - 80*F range we are in the best MPG range for the CMAX Hybrid and FFH now.  Here is my last trip to N. Atlanta and my tank fill up.

Trip going up temps 78*F, little tailwind and speeds 75 - 65mph.

Trip going back temp 73*F, little head winds and speeds 70 - 60 mph less drafting.

Actual MPG for tank 56.6 mpg and almost 800 miles.smile.png

YouTube video views up to 6500 now.

I use Fuelly.com to keep track of my fillups and gas mileage.  I use GasBuddy.com  to find the best gas prices which you can save 10 - 20%.smile.png

You Tube views are up to 8232 now. My Life Time Score just went up to 49.9mpg and my Fuelly for the last 10 fillups with a trip to NY and Austin, TX is 55 mpg. This shows what kind of gas mileage you can get if you use the info from My 3 You Tube videos plus the warmer temps.smile.pngAttached File  LT49.9MPG.JPG   84.77KB   0 downloads

Hi Paul:

You should check your RAFE screen in the ET test menu and see what it says there.  Below is mine.  58.6mpg in warm temps driving around Boston area.  If I fill up the tank I'll get 820 miles range, right now I have 766 range I've used up about 1 gallon, 0.97 gallons according to the trip meter the tank was full before yesterday.

Pictures below to show all this:

First picture is the trip meter from last night. mpg net of 121mpg including about 2 full charges.

ET screen running average fuel economy, hold down left OK button while powering up, look for ET in top left screen, let go of OK button when you see ET.  Scroll through the screens to get to RAFE.  Paul, take a picture of yours and post it here.  I'm getting 58.6 mpg driving around in summer temps of 70's yesterday.

Remaining range of 766 miles after burning 0.97 gallons yesterday.  Range is RAFE x 14 gallons ( if full tank).

Fuel burn on trip A from the ET screen.

Trip A distance from the ET screen.

Trip 1 (A) from the external normal user screen.

Trip 2 Lifetime summary for me, I never reset it since day 1.  Notice trip meter runs a little faster than odometer, its logged 0.3 miles longer in 18652.8 miles.  Trip 2 miles in the left corner rolled over once already.  EV miles have rolled over several times, I keep track.  77.7 is lifetime average for this car, 1338 is lifetime Kwh taken out of the HVB.  53 hours rolled over several times, let me pull up my spreadsheet and give you actual info for this:

Just attached it below.  In short:

18652.8 miles driven,

12838.2 EV miles (rolled over a dozen times)

68.8% EV to ICE ratio

77.7 mpg lifetime

1338 Kwh taken out of HVB

853:24:06 hours driven since brand new off lot.

Its all there for all you guys to see, this is what I get out of this car.  Many people won't get this sort of performance, you have to be anal about things to maximize the EV and ICE performance like Paul does.  I don't have any mods on my car, it is stock as is and I can get those numbers with mine.  Its all in how you drive the car.   EV range varies with speed.  In Boston in city streets with speeds less than 35mph, I'm getting 36 miles.  I use the engine at all speeds faster than 40 when there is room to run (storrow drive, 93, mass pike, etc) and on hills in the city if the engine is warmed up already -- switch to EV later, fire it up to climb the hill, switch back to Auto just before the summit and off the gas back in EV mode.

Edit:

Just added trip 2 from ET screen showing lifetime of gas burned at 239.85 gallons.

Take 18652.8/239.85 and there is your lifetime of 77.7686 mpg shown in the trip 2 screen.
