hi
glad I found this forum!

I'm trading my Prius in for a 2013 Energi and wanted opinions please.

94k miles for $9000.00, 2 owners, no accident on Auto Check.

I'm a bit concerned with the high miles but it comes with a limited warranty from the dealer for 2yrs.

Is this a good deal? I'm on the fence with it (left deposit so far) but would love any feedback from members here.

Thanks Jeff!

That's a ton of miles in only 3 years.

Seems slightly overpriced, IMO

I'm currently shopping for my own Cmax, the price seems about right, however there are lots of lower mileage units around. Keep shopping

Yea a lot of miles but the price is all we can afford now and we need the space.....

Also it was the lowest price Energi on all the car sites I looked at with those miles + has a warranty and nice car fax

I hear you, re price and budget if your comfortable with the miles, go for it if it fits your budget.

Yes very true

I might try to get an extended warranty since the dealer is doing a totally even trade with me, no fees at all

I haven't looked since January but when I was shopping then I could find the base model Energi's for $9K, but I couldn't find a 303A with pano roof for less than about $13K.  Not sure how much prices have changed but depending on which model you're looking at it can make a difference.  Though it might make more difference just because there are less fully loaded models out there more than the fact that anyone is bothering to charge much more for options on the used modesl.

HI thanks for the reply

I withdrew my deposit today and found a 2014 C Max Hybrid instead with 40K miles + my trade + 1000.00

They wanted 11K for the car, I thought it was fair and WAY less miles, of course, from the Energi that I could afford........

So you ended getting a 2013 hybrid with 40k miles for $11k? Pretty good deal I think. :)

Actually its a 2014 so even better but actually its NOT an Energi so I have to update my profile as such but I still think it was a great deal

The Energis I could afford were too high in miles so I settled for this

Just took it home on a 500 mile trip

Today learning how to drive it.....meaning keeping it in EV as much as possible as I have owned many hybrids before, the thing has some nice power to it for sure

I wish you would have been able to afford an Energi, so much easier to keep it in EV mode and travel all around town to eat, shop and run errands on EV power.

But the hybrid is still good, better gas mileage than other cars - probably get somewhere around 43mpg on average with highway driving, higher if all city.

-=>Raja.

Yea I wish so as well

I had a Volt so I know about the EV and miss it but the Volt was too small for us to move things in

I may trade it in if I find an Energi I can afford with low miles

Another note:

Any MODS on here that can convert my account to the regular Hyrbrid forum?

Tried to join it and NO email confirmation comes at all to 3 different emails, your system must not be working :(
