My morning commute is right after sunrise and takes me under about 30 bridges along the way.  The headlights (in auto mode) are generally on for most of the trip if it's overcast, but off if it's sunny.  The center display is set for auto day/night mode.  It generally follows the headlights; if they're on, it's in night mode, if off, then day mode.  But bridges seems to drive the center display crazy.  It takes about 2 second to transit under the typical bridge.  The display goes from day mode, to night mode, and then back to day mode as I go under just about every bridge.  The headlights don't do this flip flopping; they obviously have some delay built in to the switching algorithm.  It seems like some delay should be built into the center display switching also.
