Only certain states and Mexico included in this recall due to high temperatures, high humidity, and sunlight exposure.

So far, my car (registered and used in NY) isn't covered by the recall. Will be watching. Thanks. {Jonathan}

My understanding is that they'll eventually reach those of us in the North, just not yet. Hopefully I won't end up with long-term rentals like I had for my Fit when its airbag was under recall...

Got the recall notice today: 16S30.  When I was in a month+ ago for the modem replacement my SA said the latches were due in later in the year.  Don't know if getting a notice means it might be sooner.  Not a big priority for me.

The dealer offered to do mine when I was in for something else.  They broke the keyless door-handle stuff, so check that before you drive away.

They fixed mine with no argument, but it was another day in the shop.

Stolenmoment, exactly why I don't want to replace my door latches until there is an actual issue with them.

I don't need them taking apart factory stuff and then closing things back up with loose parts inside and worse maybe a not working auto lock/unlock or other issues I've read about there with that recall.
