after messing with it a week, I learned a couple of things
1.When you do a master reset, it releases the VIN on MFM. I learned this because I had set up and deleted a number of accounts trying to get it to work.
2.You can Not change the name of your car in MFM. I named mine " Piece of $%#&" and had to start all over to rename it once I got it working. i renamed it "Ford $^@*ks".
3.Pulling fuse #67 under the glove box ended up fixing my problem
4.The dealer, nor the people at the 800 had any clue how to fix the problem.
5.I inboxed one of the IVT team members here and they never bothered to reply.
So, yea the POS works now, but I'm still not impressed with Ford or the customer service.
Ultimately it was a member here suggesting to pull fuse 67 that fixed the problem Ford created.
