I have a 2013 and I tried several times to get the first notification with no luck.

I tried resetting the the sync system, but that has not helped.

Someone told me the to update the sync, does that affect the My ford mobile?

Any ideas.

Thanks for any help

after messing with it a week, I learned a couple of things

1.When you do a master reset, it releases the VIN on MFM. I learned this because I had set up and deleted a number of accounts trying to get it to work.

2.You can Not change the name of your car in MFM. I named mine " Piece of $%#&"  and had to start all over to rename it once I got it working. i renamed it "Ford $^@*ks".

3.Pulling fuse #67 under the glove box ended up fixing my problem

4.The dealer, nor the people at the 800 had any clue how to fix the problem.

5.I inboxed one of the IVT team members here and they never bothered to reply.

So, yea the POS works now, but I'm still not impressed with Ford or the customer service.

Ultimately it was a member here suggesting to pull fuse 67 that fixed the problem Ford created.

Wow, I think you should just sell the car and chill out.  Your previous posts have been nothing but name calling towards Ford and your car.  You really show a lack of maturity in my opinion.

Other owners including myself have made suggestions of things to do or try and get your system working properly, yet again you ask about updating the system.  Regardless of what Ford shows on the site, have you checked the version of the system in your car using the directions found in the owners manual?

I am more than willing to pass on any knowledge or help that I can on forums whenever I can.  However in this case, I will just  have to ask where is the ignore button?

I'm not replying, I'd say sell it and move on, please?

Sorry guys, I just paid for something and want it to work.

I guess that's too much to ask with a Ford product.

If I sold it I would be taken to the cleaners, Frequent Overhaul,Rapid Depreciation.

So the forum is stuck with me asking questions

I was hoping you would leave, but, under the circumstances, the "Ignore User" feature of the forum is now in use.

Dude, we suggested that for like a week while you kept complaining before you tried it.

I saw it and it worked, Thanks :smile2: their is a lag between my post.

It still does not counter my argument that Ford or it's dealer couldn't tell me that.

Ford is relying on that their customers will get advise from the other Ford users to keep their Ford working....Crowd Service?

Everything is crowd-sourced!  That way, the salescritters don't need to know anything.  Just do the research with Google, then show up already knowing what you need to, and (mostly) immune to their spiel.
