The funny part beside this thread being so old is that as usual Ford Customer service really did nothing and the dealer knowing the part takes a long time to get for some reason did not bother to try and get a couple of them to have in stock.
My biggest issue with the average brand dealerships is the lack of true customer service, one of the reasons I am looking at purchasing a premium car after doing a lot of research. My 2013 was at the dealership for a HV part that caused the car to not run at all, it had to be towed to the dealership and sat there until just a couple of days before the "lemon law" could take effect.
When I had an Acura there was always a loaner and the salesman actually lived near me and actually offered to come by my house drop off his car and take mine in for service if i wanted to. I want that kind of experience vs a salesman that does not know how to open the fuel filler door!
