Sorry I don't understand what you mean.  I went to MFM and I didn't notice anything different, what am I looking for?

It looks to me like its a new sub-forum devoted to MFM questions and answers.

I access MFM on my PC using the Chrome browser, and on my Android phone and tablets using the application.

Here in FL I sometimes will remote start the car so the AC can run for a minute before I reach it, if I wasn't able to park in the shade.

I have push notifications setup so that emails and SMS messages are sent for events.  I find that the app and the notifications work well and as expected.  My area has good coverage from the AT&T 2G network for the time being.

I'm using MFM but I haven't figured out how to do push notifications.  Does one do that from the vehicle or PC?  I have only used the iOS app on an iphone so far and can get all the info I really need by querying but it would be nice to simply get an email or txt when the vehicle has finished charging.

Edit: Well, after posting I went back to my iphone app and realized I should be able to set push notifications from the app.  Will give it a try.

I have the app on my iPhone too, but it's very limited in use. A lot of options are nog available. I can do some things from the ford website.

How do you pre start your car? Do you just adjust the time schedule or is it a separate button?

See pics below. Anyone know how I can get the full use of this on my iPhone?

Chris, I wonder if the issue is that Ford may not have a contract with ATT (or similar carrier) in the Netherlands as I believe the MFM communication between phone and car is done via cellular.

Can you check the state of battery charge using MFM?

You are on the ^ arrow screen in the pictures above.  There are 3 more icons on the bottom.

The far left one is the battery, if you click on it you should see the battery charge level like in the commercials about the car.

The one next to it is the charge station locations around your car.  Maybe you don't know where your car is, but you should see any charge stations I would think.  Mine shows the location of my car also.

The third one (one next to the ^ arrow) is the remote control option where you can start the car, lock or unlock it via the phone application.

I'm not sure why the european models come stripped out of the kick switch for the tailgate, I guess they don't expect you guys to carry groceries with both hands on the way to the car!

I know how the app works, and what options it has. But none of the options work. But they do work through the ford website.

I just showed you these pictures to show the red blocking icons on top of the options. So I can't select them.

I haven't used the Ford website myself.  Can you check vehicle charge level through the website?  If so then clearly the car is communicating and I would assume the issue is with your mobile app version.  Have you tried reinstalling it?  I have found that for some reason the MFM app "lost" my sign in information mysteriously after working for several days.  I just reentered it and all has been well since (for a few days at least).  If you have a friend with a different mobile plan maybe you could borrow his phone to install the app and try to communicate with the car that way.  Failing that, there are some Ford employees who monitor this forum and you might approach one of them.  Good luck.

Ok, here is how it went.

I set the website up, with my name and password at the beginning when we got the car. Later I added my girlfriend as a user.

I reinstalled the app. Could not log in anymore, logged in with my girlfriends name, added me back in on the website.

Logged in at the app with girlfriends name and the app asked for sync.

Now I am logged in with my girlfriends name in the app and it works. Finally.

After this I tried to log in with my own credentials and the app now says that I need to ask for acces to this vehicle info at my girlfriend.

So I did and as lovely as she is, she accepted me. Logged in again and there my world to Ford opened up.

I'm in guys.

Thanks all. Yeah, you too rbort!

Found this:

http://www.extremete...scapes-liftgate

Shows the sensor, I thought it was a single thing but apparently its two bars inside the bumper.  Check it out Chris.

Also glad you got your MFM working  :clapping:

Thanks for that website. It clears a lot on how it works.

Too bad it's so expensive to add it later. It's not worth it. Just to be able to open it by foot. While you can open it already in 3 ways.

I think I'll take my loss. And enjoy the options I do have.

MyFord Mobile App stopped working in my Cmax.  Can anyone help?

It worked fine for about 6 months.  I really enjoyed the remote start during the cold winter of the East Coast.

It stopped working about 1 month ago.  I have reinstalled the app in my phone; I have reset the system in the car; I have deleted the car from the account and added it again, but nothing works.

Any thoughts?

You can try pulling fuse # 67.  Under passenger side you need to pull down the panel.  I believe 3 attachment points.  Leave it off for a little while.  If this does not work, I also tried pulling the negative cable off the battery for about 4 hours.  I'm afraid this didn't work for me either.  If you decide to go the negative battery cable route there is very little room in there, so I got a plastic spatula and inserted it between the negative lug and the battery ground as soon as I got it off.

Finally got DM5Z-19K350-B replaced under warranty.  Everything fine and dandy afterwards...

DTC B116C:04 is listed as an IDS SELF TEST.  (Not sure if this is exactly related, or possibly from pulling the fuse or negative battery cable.  The first time I tried pulling the negative cable it was without the spatula.  That was not exactly a pleasant experience.)

Dealer replaced the TCU module (DM5Z-19K350) today but MyFordMobile still cannot communicate.  Don't Ford technicians have a way to test the connection rather than have the customer try a variety of resets and reloads of MyFordMobile apps?  Seems to me that the technician should be able to troubleshoot the problem without the customer (me) trying to rule out software problems on my phone or computer.
