EDIT;  SOLUTION FOUND...Pull out fuse 67 for 10 seconds (Fuse not broken)....located in FUSE BOX UNDER PASSENGER SIDE GLOVE BOX !  This resets the system.

By the way..my phone data service stopped working past 36 hours...worried that the fuse solution would not be testable...just after i pulled and replaced the fuse the phone data service returned...coincidence or connection?  hmmmm...

Thanks for every one's help!

Original message:

Very happy C-Max driver (288 MPG...with a high of 399 last month!)

However, my current stats & status are not updating...it reflects information from a week ago. I have no idea why this has occurred...besides the obvious layout/design inefficiencies of the app itself (long, thin lines instead of fingertip sized squares?  What is this, 1997?) I have had no problems with it & use it all the time.

One of my Focus Electric owners has been having the problem as well this last week...maybe its system wide?

Anyone else have this problem? I have not tried to reset & reregister the car to the App.

EDIT: Remote unlock does not work either.
EDIT 2: Someone suggested pulling Fuse 67, waiting 10 seconds, then plugging back in...This worked great!

Are you still able to lock and unlock the car from the app?

Pull fuse 67, wait 10 seconds and put it back in. Like resetting your cell phone when it locks up.

I'm with honemch on this one, Bowtie Dan Fordofkirkland. If it's still not communicating after the fuse pull, let me know and I'll escalate this for you.

Where is fuse 67? The only fuse with a 7 is F27.

For 2013 model look at page 277 of the users manual. For 2014 it's on page 203.

In either case, it's a pain in back to get to.

My parents' C-Max Energi stopped communicating with MFM on Friday. Today I went over to their house an pulled fuse 67 for them. Now the car is working correctly again. Thanks!

I had to do this the first few weeks after getting our car in April 2013.  Ford should consider a reset switch that is easily accessible, rather than having to go into the fuse box.

Ours is not working after at least a few attempts at pulling Fuse 67.  Thinking of disconnecting the negative cable of the battery.  Anyone know the list of things I'll have to reprogram once I put it back?

I pulled one of the battery cables once to reset the MFT screen as it was acting up.  I don't remember what was lost except for the range estimate of the car dropped to 20 and the driving coach bars were all reset to dark (no blue at all).  It took a while to build back the driving score and range, but I don't remember the radio stations being lost, I think they stayed.

My parents' Energi is acting up again. These are the first two times they've had this issue in almost 2 years of ownership. It's very weird that it's now happening twice in about 10 days. I will go over to their house tonight and pull the fuse again.

People who have been successful with the fuse pull, does your CPPM ESN have a value other than "Unknown"?  Thanks.

I had the same issue.  Turns out if I drive my car a few miles away and do an update using MFM the update succeeds.  Bottom line is that my home is now in a 2G Cell data HOLE.  The 2G coverage is spotty in my town and despite being able to update by MFM in my garage prior apparently it is now a data hole.  My girlfriend has a Fusion Energi and her MFM likewise failed to update in our garage.  She drives it a few miles away and it works.  I DID pull fuse 67 in my Cmax Energi (different fuse for Fusion FYI) but I think that was a waste of time for me.  It was not the car's problem...not my phone's problem....it was that there was no cell data coverage.

The car is at the service department getting a new TCU.  So excited that it is getting fixed, I am considering getting another Ford, (albeit I can probably afford only a used one...)

My wife got a call from her SA yesterday saying the car is done!  I added the car to her account last night, and when she picked up the car she noticed the first confirmation, and agreed.  If all the steps:

try website if the mobile ap is not working

try remove and re add the vehicle to the account

master reset

fuse 67 pull for some time

neg battery cable pull for some time

don't work, TCU replacement is the solution.

My wife picked up the car on the way to work this morning.  Will check the part number of the TCU when she brings the receipt home later.

Even after only the first confirmation, the MyFordMobile website is already updating the charge status and that the vehicle is unplugged.
